How SAFAR Works
SAFAR is your home for everything GEC Pakistan 2026. It stands for the Staff And Facilitator All-in-one Resource, and it holds every piece of information you need across the whole program, organized so you can find things fast.
Why "SAFAR"
Safar means journey in Urdu, and that is exactly what this is. Your role spans three stages: getting ready before camp, running the days on the ground, and wrapping up after. SAFAR follows that arc with you, so whether you are preparing months out or sorting details mid-program, the thing you need is here. The name fits the program itself too, since this is a journey across Karachi, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Islamabad, and SAFAR is the place you check before each leg.
How it's organized
Everything lives in sections below, and each one is a live database rather than a static page. That means it updates in real time as the program comes together, so what you see is always current. Click into any record to open its full details. Use the views at the top of each database (table, calendar, and others) to filter and sort down to exactly what you need, like seeing only your phase, your team, or upcoming dates.
Getting around
Start with the section that matches what you are looking for. Travel and visa questions, accommodations, forms and deadlines, contacts, and daily schedules each have their own home. If you are not sure where something lives, the search at the top of the page will find it. When in doubt, come back here and work outward from this hub.

Dear Kakis, Kakos, Apas, & Bhais,
Thank you for being part of this safar. Putting a summer like this together takes a lot of hands, and I am grateful yours are among them. My hope is that everything here makes your job a little easier, so you can focus on what really matters once we are there: the participants and the experience we will create together. If you ever need anything, you know where to find me.
See you in Pakistan,
Kako Arman
